Other work

Here’s a collection of various projects, most of which showcase my illustration capabilities. Some for clients, some just for fun.

Dungeons & Dragons movie event poster

Client hosted a cosplay event the weekend of the D&D movie opening. The inspiration was drawn from the original 1980 players guide and the decor at Milwaukee’s famous Oriental Theater. Posters were hung around Milwaukee and attendees were given these posters at the event as well.

Therapy Dog Services trading card

This is my mother’s dog, Takoda. Takoda is a certified therapy dog. Mom takes her to hospices, hospitals, wellness fairs and attends a children’s bereavement camp every summer. Yes, my mom is amazing and so is her sweet pup. Everyone who meets Takoda instantly falls in love with her. Mom wanted something to leave people with after visits, so I created this trading card for her. I’ll make more cards with different poses and fun Takoda facts.

Hand painted bass drum head

Hand painted bass drum head

Commissioned by Chicago jazz drummer Tommy Lowery to paint his bass drum head. His art direction included “sending out positivity through music” and “use lots of color.”

“Strong Handshake” poster

Fierce Lady Animal buttons

Fierce Lady Animal buttons

Created these buttons for selling in my Big Cartel shop. Fierce lady bunny, fierce lady bear. Roar.

Goatland Holiday Party 2020

Goatland Holiday Party 2020

Hired to create holiday cards and other printed material for Chicago chef Stephanie Izard’s employee party. Thankfully the party went as planned. The celebration was held in January 2020, just a few short months before the pandemic shut everything down.

Save the date!

Save the date!

Drew this in Procreate and made it into magnets for sending out with my wedding invitations. This is how my husband and I wanted to remind everyone of our special date as well as let them all know that together we are indeed champions at life.

Neighborhood Watch sign

Neighborhood Watch sign

A different take on the neighborhood watch signs we’ve all grown accustomed to seeing. This was drawn in Procreate, printed locally and sold through my Big Cartel shop. Proceeds were sent to Metcalfe Park Community Bridges.
